Located adjacent to Casa Mita, the Punta Mita Tennis Club is a 5-star facility with a wide variety of ongoing tennis activities. The tennis facilities in Punta Mita have been repeatedly rated by Tennis Resorts Online as among “the top 25 tennis resorts in the world” and “Nº. 1 tennis resort in Mexico”. The center is managed by Peter Burwash International (PBI). PBI offers individual tennis programs at vacation sites and private clubs worldwide. Complementing the courts and clinics are full locker rooms, a Pro Shop, racket rentals, ball machines, and other amenities. Lessons are customized to the individual, with the Couples semi-private lesson a great way to spend time together in active pursuits.
PBI Tennis Director Miguel Lopez offers daily clinics. The club also offers player matching for singles or doubles matches. If you are part of a larger group or would like to hold a special clinic, let the Pro staff know in advance, and they will make the arrangements.
Get in the swing of Punta Mita’s recreational options by participating in one of the regularly scheduled clinics at the Club Punta Mita Tennis Center. The Punta Mita program caters to a broad mix of skill levels, as well as offers an active kids’ tennis program.

The Pro Shop at the Punta Mita Tennis Club offers all you need to play your game in style and comfort, including rackets, balls, accessories and the latest in tennis attire. Mens’ and Ladies’ tennis gear features the latest styles from Nike, Ralph Lauren, and other top brands. The Pro Shop also features an extensive line of Punta Mita Logo items and clothing. All is geared for the climate and relaxed atmosphere of Punta Mita.
Incorporating teaching concepts from celebrated tennis organization Peter Burwash International, the Club’s tennis clinics are designed to give players of all abilities knowledge of the game, a solid workout and a good time. The clinics are never cancelled if at least one participant is signed up, and all levels are welcome.

Enjoy live ball drills and games coordinated by the Tennis Center Pro. The clinic will be designed specifically for those in attendance.

Doubles Strategy – 10:00am to 11:00am – 60 minutes
Discover your role on the doubles court. Learn formations, positions, strategies, and angles to make points more fun.
Little Tennis Champs (ages 4 to 7) – 3:30pm to 4:00pm – 30 minutes
All about fun, and an introduction to a life-long sport.
Junior Tennis (ages 8 to 12) – 4:00pm to 5:00pm – 60 minutes
An hour of fun involving game fundamentals.
Wednesday
Cardio Tennis – 10:00am to 11:00am – 60 minutes
Join us on the court for a high-intensity workout that involves music, movement and hitting tennis balls. A lot of fun!
Thursday
Serve and match – 10:00am to 11:00am – 60 minutes
Improve the most important shot in tennis and practice playing points.
Kids for all seasons clinic – 11:00 am to 12:00 pm – 60 minutes
Friday
Groundstroke workout – 10:00am to 11:00am – 60 minutes
Get your forehands and backhands to the next level with expert tips, then put them into practice.

Pier
The Pier at Punta Mita is a private facility of Club Punta Mita. It is located just to the north of the Porto Fortuna community, between the 2nd hole of Bahia golf course and the Sufi restaurant at Porto Fortuna. This recent addition to the recreational amenities of Punta Mita provides Club Punta Mita Members with easy access to the Bay and surrounding waters.
If you choose to charter a boat or yacht, you can be picked up by a tender from the pier (as the water bordering the pier isn’t deep enough for larger yachts). This makes day trips, fishing charters, dive trips and surf/paddleboard trips much more accessible.
The Punta Mita Outdoor Activities Center (by Punta Mita Expeditions) has boats available and staff stationed at the pier to assist with docking and provide transportation for your favorite activities. Just give them a call to make arrangements: 329.291.6649 or email info@puntamitaexpeditions.com
Upon arrival to the pier by boat, please contact the operator at vhf channel 13, who will at all times:
• Request personal identification to provide access to the property
• Guide the maneuvers to approach the pier or will provide embarking/disembarking service
• When arriving at the pier from inside the Punta Mita community, support will be provided at the Porta Fortuna access gate with electric car transportation service to the pier. Designated parking space is available
• For those bringing their own boat to approach the pier, the boat will only be able to remain in the facility to drop off or pick up passengers – there are no mooring or docking services available
• Personal boats approaching the pier must have bumper guards in place at all times and every passenger must wear life jackets
• There is no lifeguard on duty at the pier. Users must obey all safety measures established by the operator of the Pier
Restrictions
• The arrival of people in an inebriated state is not permitted
• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult
• Pier usage is only available for inflatable boats under 20 feet

Recreational trail
Punta Mita runners, walkers and bikers have a beautiful, safe trail to enjoy – the Punta Mita Recreational Route, which provides a variety of options in terms of distance and challenge.
One Route runs from the St. Regis to the Palm Court turnaround and complements the 2 additional routes — one from thePalm Court to the main entry, and the other from the Palm Court to the Four Seasons.
Following are the distances along the Punta Mita Recreational Route:
- Main Plaza/Palm Court to Entry Gate: 2.3 km / 1.3 miles
- Main Plaza/Palm Court to St. Regis: 1.6 km / 1 mile
- Main Plaza/Palm Court to Four Seasons: .75 km / 1/2 mile
