Hole 1 · Pacífico · Par 4

A shorter par-4, 421 yards long and relatively simple, with the wind in your favor and a wide fairway that allows you to maneuver. Start with a straight drive, slightly to the left, avoiding the trap on the right side. The second shot must be executed in way to avoid the three traps that protect the green.

Hole 2 · Pacífico · Par 5

The first big challenge – a long and challenging par-5, where the headwind and a variety of traps can penalize your game, it’s a tough hole for those trying to reach the green in two shots. The key is to avoid the palm trees on the left and be mindful of the wind, as distances can be deceptive. Try to keep the ball to the right side of the hole always. As you approach the green, the third shot is relatively simple.

Hole 3 · Pacífico · Par 3

Hole 3A

This 180-yard par-3 is relatively difficult because of the water hazard on the right, which cuts into the line between the tee box and the green. The key is to pay close attention to the wind, the wrong club can result in a high score.

Hole 3 · Pacífico · Par 3

Hole 3B

Relax and enjoy, maybe take a selfie, because you’re at the famous Tail of the Whale, our signature hole. Located on an island in the Pacific Ocean, it is the favorite hole of the course designer and world-famous golfer, Jack Nicklaus, and is undoubtedly the most spectacular hole you can play. Although this hole is not officially part of the game, it is an exciting challenge if you want to test your long shots and the perfect opportunity to place a friendly bet with your golf buddies. With its 180-yard forced carry, you will need a lot of club and precision to get to the green.

Hole 4 · Pacífico · Par 4

Relatively short and with the wind in your favor, this par-4 is a dogleg to the left due to the creek and trees on the left side of the fairway. It is essential to position your first shot to the center, using a 3 wood or a long iron. The key is not to deviate from the center, starting with a 230-yard stroke, avoiding the complications to the left, allowing you to reach an advantageous position that is slightly to the right for the next shot. On the second shot, you will have a short iron to the green, you must carry the hazard and manage a complicated green, surrounded by traps.

Hole 5 · Pacífico · Par 4

An extremely long par-4, so get ready – you have just arrived at the most difficult hole on the course, where the two creeks will complicate the hole. It’s essential to start with a solid drive. Try to position yourself on the left side of the fairway to avoid the ravine on the right. The second shot is tough and must be very precise, directed towards a tiny green and considering the danger of the second ravine. The key is to avoid the ravine and land on the green all while you try to stay protected to the right.

Hole 6 · Pacífico · Par 3

A long and quite complicated par-3, where the green has a very steep and challenging angle which is difficult to see. It is a fade-hole, where you must hit with some slice from left to right, avoiding the first trap. The wind is in your favor at this hole, which should help you reduce your yardage.

Hole 7 · Pacífico · Par 5

This is a great hole to enjoy because of its gorgeous views across Banderas Bay and Puerto Vallarta. A par-5 of 530 yards, short and straight with the wind in your favor. Definitely a hole to take advantage of the wind and downhill slope. A simple approach to this green with the exception of some bunkering around the green.

Hole 8 · Pacífico · Par 3

A par-3 by the sea, with excellent views, this is a short and simple 159 yards. It’s a moment of rest, where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The key is to avoid the trap on the left side and the hazard as well, but it’s a simple green with plenty of room to maneuver to the right.

Hole 9 · Pacífico · Par 5

One of the most spectacular holes, with privileged views of the Marietas Islands, this is a par-5 with the wind in your favor that can be tricky. You should start out slightly to the left, as the right side is out of bounds. In addition, the first section is full of traps with severe slopes. Your second shot should also be positioned towards the center, avoiding more traps on the right side. Finally, the third shot is relatively simple, but care must be taken with the trap to the left and the steep slopes.

Hole 10 · Pacífico · Par 4

A par-4, dogleg to the right, where the key is to execute a straight shot, avoiding the bunker right taking into consideration that the wind is against you. The second shot is the most difficult, since the green has a complicated angle, narrow and inclined, with bunkers both front and back, be careful on this approach shot.

Hole 11 · Pacífico · Par 3

Even though it’s a quite simple par-3, the wind against you makes this hole long. The key is to hit towards the center of the green, although protected on the left by a series of traps, this wide and generous green allows you to maneuver calmly.

Hole 12 · Pacífico · Par 4

If you are a risk and reward kind of person, this is a great hole for showing off. A short par-4, with the wind in your favor, you will be able to reach and arrive in one with a powerful and precise drive. The hole has a stream and traps both in front and to the right of the green, so if your game is more conservative, it is recommended to position your shot at 230 yards and then attack the green with a simple wedge shot.

Hole 13 · Pacífico · Par 5

If you were looking for a challenge, here it is. A long and difficult par-5, in which a lake dominates the whole right side up to the green. The key is to position your drive as near as possible to middle bunker, pay close attention to the right side. On your second shot, try to position the ball left toward left center of the fairway to have the ideal angle to the green.

Hole 14 · Pacífico · Par 4

A relatively short par-4, dogleg to the left. Players with power can attack the angle to the green, avoiding the trap on the left with a powerful drive, and then a simple approach with a short iron. If your game is more conservative, it is recommended to position your drive to the right of the trap, placing yourself in the center of the fairway with a mid-iron approach to follow.

Hole 15 · Pacífico · Par 5

A short par-5 and an excellent chance to score low. The key is to avoid the problematic left side with its waste area, traps and rough. To achieve this, the first shot must be straight. The second shot is a blind shot and can be deceptive, so if you’re trying to reach in two, avoid the hill and traps on the short right side. Once on this is a simple green with not much break.

Hole 16 · Pacífico · Par 4

A very long par-4, dogleg to the left, making it a very complicated challenge. A difficult drive, with problems on both sides. Bunkers to the left and out of bounds to the right, you’ll need to hit straight and with a lot of distance due to wind in your face. Although there is a lot of space, distance makes it difficult. The second shot is also complicated, you must avoid a small trap in the center of the fairway, a challenging green with a lot of inclination. Good luck!

Hole 17 · Pacífico · Par 3

A beautiful par-3, with average difficulty, distance and headwind. The key is to avoid, above all, the left side, which is full of traps, coral and the sea. On your first shot, keep the ball right, avoiding the small bunker. From there, the rest of the hole is straightforward play.

Hole 18 · Pacífico · Par 4

The grand finale to an excellent day in an incredible setting. This par-4 is not very long and relatively easy. The key is avoiding the right side where the sea and a bunker is located, trying to approach the green from the left side. Enjoy the breathtaking view from this green which is embraced by the sea and waves, overlooking the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort and the spectacular Tail of the Whale.
